The Guggenheim Museum is beautiful. It holds a wonderful collection of art, some which are lovely and some strange. They like to put things in cages made of bits of wire and old doors. If fact they love old doors.
The star of the show is the building which is made of small sheets of titanium, the thickness of tissue paper. The sheets are shaped just a little to reflect light.
The queue of people who did not book on line waiting to buy tickets.
Outdoor sculptures. The dog is made of flowers and is about 10 meters high.
The only art we could photograph is Andy Walhol’s Shadows. This consisted of 102 works made with silk screens. This was the only thing in an enormous gallery. Fantastic.
